The Romantic Rhine Valley and the Rock of Lorelei (port-to-port cruise)

Take the cable car crossing over the river Rhine for spectacular aerial views or enjoy the city from the one thousand year old fortress, Ehrenbreitstein. The upper middle Rhine Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its unique landscape can be enjoyed and discovered through the interactive multimedia journey at the Romanticum. Historical and architectural sites of interest include Stolzenfels Castle, the Electoral Palace of Koblenz and Old Town. From the romantic winding streets and small squares of Old Town, stroll through the alleyways from the Church of the Holy Virgin to the St Kastor Basilica and enjoy the picturesque buildings and squares along the way. Cruise up the most beautiful part of the romantic Rhine between Koblenz and Rdesheim. We will pass numerous castles nestling in the famed vineyards and the celebrated rock of the Lorelei. Arrival in Rdesheim early in the afternoon. Join us for the optional excursions proposed:CLASSIC: Departure in a touristic train stopping at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a visit to the museum of mechanical music.DISCOVERY: Hiking through the vineyards in Rudesheim.In the evening, the famous Drosselgasse awaits you with its numerous cafs and bands.

Departure of the ship early in the morning to cruise up the Rhine to Mannheim. We will pass the towns of Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms. Join us on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Heidelberg. Back on board late in the afternoon. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner. Our ship will sail towards Strasbourg through the night.
