As imagined by AmaWaterways’ Co-Founder, Co-Owner and President Rudi Schreiner, the “Godfather of River Cruising,” the AmaMagna is twice the width of traditional European river ships and offers more personal space, more unique dining venues and more leisure opportunities, redefining the river cruise experience! Most accommodations are spacious suites measuring 355 to 710 sq. ft. with full balconies. In addition to the Main Restaurant and The Chef’s Table, AmaMagna introduces two enticing new dining venues: Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant named for AmaWaterways’ late Co-Owner Jimmy Murphy, and the Al Fresco Restaurant, with retractable windows and outdoor seating. Both a sun-deck pool and whirlpool invite guests to refresh and enjoy the views. AmaMagna’s Zen Wellness Studio is an expansive space with a fitness center, two massage rooms and a refreshing juice bar.
Gratuities to your Cruise Manager and ship crew are not included in the holiday price. While the amount of these gratuities will depend upon your degree of satisfaction for services received. Gratuities on most vessels, but not all, may be charged on credit card as well as cash.
Most of the staterooms on our fleet feature not just one, but two private balconies — a French balcony and a full outside balcony. Together, they provide a unique panoramic view of the beautiful sights along the river and maximise the natural light coming in. With twin balconies, you can enjoy the river however you like.

Choose from the Al Fresco Restaurant with its refreshing outdoor space and vegetable-forward menu, as well as Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant, in addition to The Chef’s Table and main dining room – all included in the price of your cruise.
With a complimentary fleet of bicycles—and helmets—on board, guests have the opportunity to explore on guided bike tours, or discover a new path all on their own. Guided hiking tours also offer active ways to see grand cities and villages from a different perspective.
AmaMagna offers a variety of venues in which you can unwind and connect with kindred cruisers. Spend time in the sun-deck pool or whirlpool; at any of five onboard bars, including the pop-up sky bar; in one of two fireside libraries or within the chic onboard cinema.
Transform your mind, body and soul within the expansive Zen Wellness Studio, an evolution of AmaWaterways’ fitness centers, where you can participate in group classes led by a professionally trained Wellness Host, rehydrate with fresh-squeezed juice at the juice bar, or get a soothing massage in one of two treatment rooms.
