AmaSintra has been specially built for the Douro River, carrying up to 102 guests through Spain and Portugal’s most scenic wine country. The ship blends AmaWaterways’ signature comforts — spacious staterooms, attentive service, and thoughtful design — with the atmosphere of the Douro Valley itself. Additional amenities include a Sun Deck, a fitness room with classes, and a refreshing pool overlooking the river. From balcony views of terraced vineyards and regionally inspired cuisine paired with local wines to excursions that highlight the region’s history, AmaSintra provides an elegant and immersive way to experience the Douro.

AmaSintra has 51 staterooms and suites across six categories. All include climate control, flat-screen TVs, spacious bathrooms, and a desk and chair. All suites and many staterooms feature balconies for fresh air and river views. Suites offer more space and enhanced amenities for added comfort.

AmaSintra features one Main Restaurant, where menus highlight both Portuguese flavors and international favorites, often paired with wines from the Douro Valley. Guests can also enjoy lighter bites in the lounge, afternoon tea, and a specialty coffee station. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs are happily accommodated.
