It comes with refreshing apple and watermelon radish slaw. Or try the Braised short rib, paired with creamy mascarpone polenta, crispy onions, roasted heirloom carrots and natural jus. Next, order the Duck duo — seared breast and crispy leg complemented by sweet pearl onions, juicy poached pears, and tender brussels sprouts. If you’re a seafood lover, try the Pan-seared halibut. It comes in a rich saffron and truffle hollandaise with warm potato salad and mesclun leaves. For dessert, the Fried cheesecake is a bestseller, but chocolate fans should opt for the fudgy Peanut butter chocolate tart.

Every meal at Giovanni’s Table is a family-style celebration of rustic Italian flavour. You’ll find all your favourite Old-World classics on the menu here, like house focaccia served with marinated artichokes, olives and pesto, fluffy gnocchi tossed in a thyme-scented sauce of lamb and root vegetables, traditional risotto finished with porcini and truffle mushroom tapenade and veal osso buco paired with creamy cheese polenta, ripe tomatoes and sautéed green beans.

There are plenty of tasty options to choose from if you’re a pasta lover, from parpadelle with pancetta in a rich radicchio cream, to taglierini tossed with cherry tomatoes, calamari, bay scallops and pesto. And if you’re craving a hearty Italian-style main course, try the polpette alla romana — tender veal meatballs in a rich tomato-herb sauce — or the costolette d’agnello alle erbe — grilled lamb chops served in a Merlot reduction with baby vegetable caponata and sautéed spinach.

Many of the dishes on the Main Dining Room’s menu rotate each night, which means you could go an entire week without ever repeating a course. Every meal here begins with something delicious from the starters section of the menu — like savoury duck terrine layered with apricot chutney on toasted sourdough bread, a flaky Vidalia onion tart baked with whipped eggs, cream, and smoked bacon, or spiced eggplant and Kalamata olive tartare prepared with red pepper hummus and served on crispy garlic bread. Then, choose from international entrees like Moroccan spiced ahi tuna served over mint couscous, sautéed spinach and tequila peppers with a cool yogurt vinaigrette. Or mojo-marinated bone-in pork loin paired with sweet potatoes, broccoli and a cumin-citrus reduction. Dessert is also worth getting excited about, with options like sweet cream-soaked tres leches, home-style carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and a light and fluffy Grand Marnier soufflé.

If you’re in the mood for a glass of wine, you’ll be pleased to find the menu at the Suite Lounge covers most of the bases — sparkling, white zin, pinot grigio, merlot, cabernet Sauvignon — you name it. If you’d rather unwind with a cold, refreshing beer, the Suite Lounge offers a great selection of domestic and international brews to choose from. The bar here is also well stocked with popular spirits like New Amsterdam vodka, Bacardi rum, Beefeater gin, Glenfiddich Scotch whisky, Jose Cuervo Gold tequila, and more. Sip your preference neat, on the rocks, or with your go-to juice or soda mixer.

Kids are welcome at the Suite Lounge during breakfast hours. In the evenings, the space is open to guests of legal drinking age.

The Pinnacle Lounge is a small and nicely appointed lounge with large floor to ceiling glass windows located outside the Viking Crown Lounge on deck 17 and generally used for small private functions (ranging from religious services to wedding receptions for guests getting married or renewing their vows in the Pinnacle Chapel opposite).

On Air is the ships dedicated karaoke and sports bar seating located along the Royal Promenade. Decorated in blues, reds and purples with neon style lighting and famous quotes adorning the walls, a number of TVs are suspended above the bar airing sporting events such as NFL games.

Featuring a variety of seating arrangements in front of the stage to enjoy the karaoke performances that take place each night, and during the day a number of trivia competitions take place from logos and mascots trivia to music trivia and the Majority Rules game show.

Watch world class performers light up the stage in Broadway style theatre productions. The 1,380 seat, 3 deck high Theatre includes a spiral staircase at either side of the stage and a moveable bridge across the top. 

A world first and exclusive to Oasis Class ships, is a truly spectacular experience not to be missed. As show time approaches the boardwalk comes alive with a mesmerising combination of synchronised swimming, high diving acrobatics, trampolining and breathtaking lightshows, with the sky and sea as a backdrop. Two giant screens sit either side of the pool, and the shows are repeated on the Royal Caribbean in-room entertainment system.
