After exploring ashore, return to your Scenic Discovery Yacht and savour an Italian-inspired meal at Elements, or unwind with a cocktail at the Sky Bar on Deck 10 whilst taking in the coastal views.

The Kent Island Group forms Tasmania’s northernmost national park, protecting a remote cluster of islands and surrounding marine environment. Shaped by an ancient land bridge that once connected Tasmania to mainland Australia, the area is rich in both geological and ecological significance. Deal Island is home to Australia’s tallest lighthouse, rising high above the coastline and offering sweeping views across Bass Strait. Rich in history and natural beauty, Beauty Point blends heritage, local culture, and striking landscapes, offering a peaceful yet engaging stop along your journey through northern Tasmania.

King Island sits in the heart of Bass Strait, between Victoria and Tasmania’s northwest coast. Renowned for its quiet charm, expansive beaches, and dramatic coastal cliffs, the island blends natural beauty with a rich sense of history. Explore historic lighthouses, admire rugged seascapes, and observe the distinctive wildlife, from seabirds to native marsupials. As evening approaches, savour the elevated street food theatre of Night Market @ Koko's+, or linger over the extensive whiskey collection at the Scenic Lounge Bar, featuring over 130 varieties. Straddling the Derwent River at the foot of Mt. Wellington's forested slopes, Hobart was founded as a penal settlement in 1803. It's the second-oldest city in the country after Sydney, and it certainly rivals its mainland counterpart as Australia's most beautiful state capital. Close-set colonial brick-and-sandstone shops and homes line the narrow, quiet streets, creating a genteel setting for this historic city of 215,000. Life revolves around the broad Derwent River port, one of the deepest harbors in the world. Here warehouses that once stored Hobart's major exports of fruit, wool, and corn and products from the city's former whaling fleet still stand alongside the wharf today.Hobart sparkles between Christmas and New Year's—summer Down Under—during the annual Sydney-to-Hobart yacht race. The event dominates conversations among Hobart's citizens, who descend on Constitution Dock to welcome the yachts and join in the boisterous festivities of the crews. The New Year also coincides with the Tastes of Tasmania Festival, when the dockside area comes alive with the best of Tasmanian food and wine on offer in numerous cafés, bars, and waterfront stalls.
