12th12 | OctOct | 202424 | Singapore, Singapore, embark on the Carnival Panorama | 18:00
The main island of Singapore is shaped like a flattened diamond, 42 km (26 miles) east to west and 23 km (14 miles) north to south. Near the northern peak is the causeway leading to West Malaysia—Kuala Lumpur is less than four hours away by car. It is at the southern foot where you will find most of the city-state’s action, with its gleaming office towers, working docks, and futuristic "supertrees," which are solar-powered and serve as vertical gardens. Offshore are Sentosa and over 60 smaller islands, most uninhabited, that serve as bases for oil refining or as playgrounds and beach escapes from the city. To the east is Changi International Airport, connected to the city by metro, bus, and a tree-lined parkway. Of the island's total land area, more than half is built up, with the balance made up of parkland, farmland, plantations, swamp areas, and rain forest. Well-paved roads connect all parts of the island, and Singapore city has an excellent, and constantly expanding, public transportation system. The heart of Singapore's history and its modern wealth are in and around the Central Business District. The area includes the skyscrapers in the Central Business District, the 19th-century Raffles Hotel, the convention centers of Marina Square, on up to the top of Ft. Canning. Although most of old Singapore has been knocked down to make way for the modern city, most colonial landmarks have been preserved in the CBD, including early-19th-century buildings designed by the Irish architect George Coleman.

The capital of Sabah, Borneo's northernmost state, Kota Kinabalu is wedged between a tropical rainforest and the South China Sea. Many explorers use it as a launching point to venture off and see the surrounding jungle and marine life. Mt. Kinabalu challenges climbers daily, and top diving spots reel in underwater adventurers. The city is made up of a dense grid of concrete buildings built over reclaimed land along the coast. Several waterfront seafood restaurants and a diverse mix of hotels appeal to the travelers passing through, mostly off to explore the region.

MANILA, the capital city of the Philippines, was founded in, 1571 by Spanish conquistador Miguel López de Legazpi. It is situated on the eastern shore of Manila Bay and contains a multitude of landmarks, some of which date back to the 16th century. It is home to the baroque 16th-century San Agustin Church as well as Fort Santiago, a storied citadel and military prison. In the 19th century Manila became one of the most modern cities in Asia. Before the Spanish–American War, Manila saw the rise of the Philippine Revolution. Under the American rule following the Spanish-American War, the United States changed the official language from Spanish to English. Towards the end of World War II, during the Battle of Manila, most of the city was flattened by intensive aerial bombardment. Today, tourism is a vital industry in Manila. Here’s the most affordable way to experience Carnival Panorama®, without cutting even a single corner in the comfort department. With an Interior stateroom you’ll get a full private bathroom, your choice of bed size and layout — covered in linens you can feel at home in — all of which make this truly a great spot for curling up after a long day’s fun.
Get all the comforts of home and even a few extras — like a whirlpool tub! — with absolutely none of the hassles of home. Since your huge Suite aboard Carnival Panorama affords you VIP status, you’re in the priority line when getting on and off the ship. A Suite is the ultimate way to enjoy the ship, and the extra in-room comfort definitely goes a long way during your getaway. So feel free to put your feet up — whether you’re passing the time with a soak in the tub or a stretch on the extra-large balcony, there’s always room.
These comfy rooms with a view let you take in the scenery as you sail toward your beautiful destinations. And how about those views? Nowhere on land will you find anything like ‘em. But the views aren’t all that matters here — Ocean View staterooms on Carnival Panorama® are a little bit bigger than Interior rooms and most feature a supremely loungeable couch for those times when neither lying nor standing will do.

Nobody knows Mexican dining like a blue iguana. Well, our blue iguana, at least. That’s why it should come as no surprise that the BlueIguana Cantina™ features freshly made tacos and burritos stuffed specially for your enjoyment. Throw our homemade tortillas and salsa into the mix, and you have a casual dining experience that will make you say “mmmm” (which is actually Iguanese for “more, please”).
So maybe you’ve had sushi on a cruise before, but you’ve never had it like Bonsai Sushi™, our onboard seafood-and-soy-sauce spot. Dine amidst expertly-pruned bonsai trees while enjoying sit-down service and an affordable menu of delectable sushi and sashimi… plus rolls, soups, sides, sakes and desserts. So the next time you’re taking an onboard stroll, stop at Bonsai Sushi for a little something satisfying.
Treat your taste buds to the experience of a lifetime, culminating in a sumptuous multicourse dinner hosted by the Master Executive Chef. Your VIP experience starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 14, followed by a mind-blowing full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on our regular dining menus.
Tip: Reserve early because this once-in-a-lifetime experience has limited seating. Reservations can be made at the ship’s Guest Services desk.
The iconic red and white checkered tablecloth in your neighborhood Italian trattoria means you’re in for a certain kind of dining experience. At a table such as this, who’s gathered around is just as important as what’s being served, and we see these as the two halves of the experience at Cucina del Capitano®. Atop our tablecloth you’ll enjoy courses of dishes — antipasti, entrées, pasta and desserts — inspired by our Italian captains’ and officers’ childhoods. It’s all served famiglia-style, because we know that sharing tales of your day’s adventures is best with large plates and great company. Speaking of which, the walls are not only adorned with old snapshots from the crew’s family albums, but you might even find the captain dining at his own table in the corner… all evidence that the rustic Italian country-home atmosphere you see is no façade.
Tip: Reservations aren’t required, but to get the best seating and times, we recommend making a reservation. You can make one online after booking your cruise.
We went looking for someone to help us grill up the best burgers at sea, and we found just the guy. Carnival has teamed up with best-selling author, restaurateur and Food Network personality Guy Fieri to bring all the authentic appeal of a roadside burger shack to Guy’s Burger Joint, the cool poolside spot for hot burgers and hand-cut fries. Try a fresh-off-the-grill burger Guy’s way, or take it off-road to our toppings bar and truly make it your own.
A modern dining spot inspired by a society that measures its history in millennia, JiJi Asian Kitchen® serves up enticing dishes in a thoughtfully-designed space that’s ripe for experiencing not only good food, but good fortune… and perhaps a surprise or two. You’ll enjoy your meal among Asian prayer rolls and Mongolian-inspired fabrics that infuse northern-country style into this unique culinary experience. JiJi offers a full-service menu featuring a mix of exotic and familiar dishes designed to challenge and delight your senses.

A good seafood dish is quite the catch. However you like yours served — whether it’s on a roll or a platter — Seafood Shack’s™ the place to cast your net. Imagine a New-England-style seaside spot where you can take it all in, enjoying a great meal complete with a side of ocean view. On a Carnival cruise is where you’ll find this shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!

At SportSquare™ on Carnival Panorama®, it isn’t just winning — but even just playing — that’s big fun. At SkyRide®, strap in and zip safely around our suspended two-lane bike course high above the deck. At The Clubhouse, try indoor activities like mini-bowling and pool... while outdoor soccer, volleyball and ping-pong are always just steps away. Try for a hole-in-one at SkyGreens, sink threes on the basketball court, and challenge yourself to amazing new heights at SkyCourse™, our ropes course.
On Carnival Panorama® you’ll find the Havana Bar & Pool™. Good find — the pool’s an exclusive retreat to paradise, and the bar becomes a hot dance spot when the sun goes down. Grab a seat at the bar and order up a handcrafted Cuban cocktail like a traditional daiquiri or classic mojito. This bar is just steps from the pool, whose ocean view and atmosphere mingles with the bar’s own, for a bit of that old-time Cuban resort flavor.
Carnival Panorama actually features two movie theaters next door to one another, and we call the whole great big thing Carnival Multiplex. Behind door number one is an actual IMAX Theatre in all its huge-screen, huge-fun glory. And behind door number two? Thrill Theater lives there, and you’re invited to the 3D experience where jump-off-the-screen visuals are only the beginning of a, shall we say, truly moving experience.
Fun is always a great choice — haven’t we heard that somewhere before? — and to get a little extra of it into your Carnival Panorama® vacation, turn your attention to CHOOSE FUN® WaterWorks™! Hydro-thrill seekers, you’ll find your kind of fun with the two huge slides inviting you to experience some prime splash action. Choose RED FUN™ and you’re looking at a raft slide featuring open-air corkscrews that let everybody hear you scream with delight, or choose BLUE FUN™ for straightaways that let you pick up serious speed before splashdown. There’s even a giant dumping bucket, splash toys and more ways to soak up the fun.
The mic is off, but the battle is on… Carnival Panorama®. Lip Sync Battle™: Carnival, a stage version of the hit Paramount Network series, features a series of competitions to see who can truly channel their inner superstar, and make the crowd go wild. Fight your way to the finals, where you’ll get music, lighting, props, choreographers and even backup dancers to elevate your performance. But the attitude — superstar, diva, rockstar — that is all you. So get up there and work it, twerk it, give it all you got. And if you turn out to be the ultimate mover-and-shaker, you’ll be taking home an exclusive gift!
Carnival Panorama® premieres two new theater-rocking Playlist Productions™ shows! Broadway Beats™ brings larger-than-life classic stage-show tunes down to street level, adding dance beats to New York City’s rhythm against a backdrop of subway cars, fire escapes and bold street art. Rock Revolution reaches back to the legendary Woodstock festival for inspiration, wrapping a classic soundtrack in LED backdrops, bold contemporary fashion and dancing drones! Plus, we’ve got returning fan-faves: Soulbound raises the curtain on R&B-style mysticism while Celestial Strings delivers rock tunes backed by classical strings — plus a beat!
